These plates are created by pressing a slab of clay over a mold that was made from a carving. Each one measures 8.5”D x 9”W x 1.5”H. They are made of porcelain and are fired in the salt chamber of a wood kiln. They have some beautiful variation in the dog wood petals from the firing. They are almost like bowls - a good choice for a dessert that needs containment.
