The shape of this basket is inspired by watching a fern bend and wave in the wind. It is made from extruded parts including the handle which is made from two extruded straps which attach separately to the form then join together. The yellow glaze is beautifully variegated as it goes from a buttery yellow to gold in places. It is fired in a gas reduction kiln.
